Eric’s superpower is to be able to see entire markets and visualize the dependencies and relationships that will emerge. It’s a little bit like seeing the future. Eric’s path has been as the technical lead at companies doing hard things. 

Eric has worked alongside multiple Nobel Prize winners in building successful complex technology companies including Aurrion, Soraa, Kaai, and Agility Communications, all of which were venture-backed and acquired by industry leaders. He earned his BS in engineering physics at UC Berkeley and then got not one but two MBAs from UC Berkeley and Columbia on his way to a PhD in materials at UCSB. As an investment banker, Eric has led several high-tech transactions and has more than a dozen issued patents in complex technologies. 

When not seeing emerging market opportunities before the rest of us or spending time with his family, it’s a safe bet that Eric is drinking coffee right now.
